Costs and Pricing

How much does a bathroom renovation cost in Toronto?
+

It depends on the scope. A small bathroom cosmetic refresh typically runs $15,000 to $22,000. A full gut renovation of a small bathroom runs $22,000 to $35,000. A mid-range master bathroom renovation runs $35,000 to $55,000, and a premium master bathroom runs $55,000 to $80,000 or more. We provide a full line-by-line written quote before anything starts. See our full bathroom renovation cost guide.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Toronto?
+

A kitchen cosmetic refresh runs $15,000 to $30,000. A mid-range full renovation with new cabinets, countertops, and backsplash runs $40,000 to $70,000. A full gut renovation with layout changes and premium finishes runs $65,000 to $100,000 or more.

How much does a basement renovation cost?
+

A basic basement finishing with drywall, flooring, and electrical typically runs $35,000 to $55,000. A full legal basement apartment with separate entrance, kitchen, bathroom, and permits runs $65,000 to $100,000 or more depending on scope.

Do you offer financing?
+

We do not currently offer in-house financing. Many clients use home equity lines of credit or renovation loan products through their bank. We are happy to provide a detailed written quote to support any financing application.

Why do renovation quotes vary so much between contractors?
+

Renovation quotes vary because contractors include different things. A low quote often excludes waterproofing, substrate preparation, permits, or uses lower-quality materials. Our quotes are line-by-line so you can compare clearly. We never pad quotes and never leave things out to look cheaper.

Process and Timeline

How long does a bathroom renovation take?
+

Most bathroom renovations take 2 to 5 weeks from demolition to final walkthrough. A small bathroom typically takes 2 to 3 weeks. A master bathroom with structural work or a custom build takes 4 to 6 weeks. We provide a written schedule before the project starts.

What is your renovation process from start to finish?
+

It starts with a free in-home consultation where we assess the space and give you a written quote. Once approved, we create a photorealistic 3D design of your finished renovation. Once the design is locked, we schedule the project, manage every trade and delivery, and give you regular updates throughout. The project ends with a final walkthrough and your written warranty handed over on the day.

What does the free 3D design include?
+

Photorealistic renders of your finished space from multiple angles, a scaled floor plan, material and finish selections shown together, unlimited revision rounds, and a design brief that guides the entire build. Included free with every project booked this month.

How far in advance do I need to book?
+

Our schedule typically books 2 to 4 weeks in advance. For larger projects, 6 to 8 weeks ahead is recommended. Contact us and we will give you a realistic start date based on current availability.

Do I need to move out during the renovation?
+

For a single bathroom renovation, most clients stay home. For larger multi-room renovations involving the kitchen, some clients prefer temporary arrangements for part of the project. We discuss this during planning and work around your schedule where possible.

How do you handle unexpected issues found during demolition?
+

We have seen most of what gets discovered behind walls in Toronto and GTA homes. When we find something unexpected, we stop, document it, and call you before proceeding. Any change to scope is discussed and approved before additional work is done. Nothing gets added to your bill without your sign-off.

Waterproofing and Warranty

What is Wedi Pro certified waterproofing and why does it matter?
+

Wedi is a premium waterproofing system installed behind tile in showers and wet areas. Wedi Pro certification means the contractor has been trained and certified by Wedi to install their system correctly. Most tile contractors in the GTA are not Wedi Pro certified. Failed waterproofing is the leading cause of structural damage in renovated bathrooms. We are certified and back every shower with a written 10-year waterproofing warranty.

What does the 10-year warranty cover?
+

The written 10-year warranty covers water leakage through the shower and wet area assemblies we waterproofed. The 5-year workmanship warranty covers all finished work including tile, grout, fixtures, and installation quality. Both are provided in writing on completion day.

What happens if something fails within the warranty period?
+

Call us. We come back, assess the issue, and fix it at no charge if it is covered under warranty. We have been in business since 2007 and our reputation depends on standing behind our work.

My shower is leaking. Can you fix it?
+

Yes. We assess the extent of the damage first. Sometimes a targeted repair is possible, but often the most cost-effective solution is a full gut and rebuild with proper waterproofing. Patching failed waterproofing assemblies rarely holds long-term. We give you an honest assessment and quote both options where applicable.

Services and Scope

Do you handle all the trades, or do I need to hire separately?
+

We coordinate everything. Plumbing, electrical, framing, tile, flooring, painting. You deal with one contractor and one written contract. We manage the schedule and trades so you do not have to.

Can you renovate the kitchen and bathroom at the same time?
+

Yes, and it often makes sense to do it that way. One mobilization, one schedule, and one consistent finish level throughout. We quote the full scope upfront so you know exactly what both rooms will cost before anything starts.

Do you do condo renovations?
+

Yes. We work in condos regularly and understand the requirements including building management approvals, elevator bookings, noise restriction hours, and structural and plumbing constraints of high-rise buildings. We handle all coordination.

Do you do accessible bathroom renovations?
+

Yes. We are Adaptiv Home certified for accessible renovation design. This includes curbless showers, grab bar installation, wider doorways, non-slip tile, and fold-down benches designed for aging in place. See our accessible bathroom renovation page.

Do you handle permits?
+

Yes. When permits are required for structural work, plumbing changes, or electrical upgrades, we handle the application and inspection process. We never skip permits. All work is done to code.

Do you supply materials or do I source them myself?
+

We handle material sourcing as part of the project. Our supplier relationships give us access to quality materials at trade pricing. You select the finishes and we handle ordering, delivery, and scheduling. If you have materials you want to use, we can work with those too.

Service Area

What areas do you serve?
+

We serve Toronto, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Oakville, and Burlington. See our service areas page for city-specific information.

Do you charge extra for projects outside Toronto?
+

No. We price based on scope of work, not travel distance within our service area. The only difference may be local permit fees, which vary by municipality and are always outlined in your written quote.

Do you work in cities not on your list?
+

Occasionally. If you are in Brampton, Hamilton, Newmarket, Ajax, or another nearby city, get in touch and we will let you know if we can accommodate. We assess these on a case by case basis.

Getting Started

How do I get a quote?
+

Fill out the form on our contact page, call us at 647-289-8425, or text us. We will get back to you within a few hours to book a free in-home consultation where we assess the space and give you a full written estimate.

What should I prepare for the in-home consultation?
+

You do not need to prepare much. It helps to have a rough idea of what you want to change and a general sense of your budget. We will ask you questions, take measurements, and guide you through the options.

How long does the free consultation take?
+

Typically 45 minutes to an hour for a single bathroom. Larger multi-room projects may take longer. We do not rush the consultation.

I am not ready to start yet. Can I still get a quote?
+

Absolutely. Many clients get a quote 3 to 6 months before they plan to start. A written quote gives you an accurate budget to plan around. There is no obligation and no pressure.

Ready to start?

Free in-home quote. No pressure.

We come to your home, see the space, and give you a full line-by-line written estimate before anything starts. No vague ballparks, no surprises.
